We don't quote a repair over the phone without seeing the door, because a bent track and a broken spring look the same to a homeowner describing a noise and are nothing alike to fix. We don't sell a full opener replacement when a $40 sensor realignment solves it, and we don't push a new door on a homeowner in Burns Park or Old West Side when the original 1970s hardware just needs new rollers.
We also don't work on gates, fences, or garage door screens - just the door, the opener, the track, the spring, and the panel. If your door was installed before the mid-1950s with hardware we can't source parts for anymore, we'll tell you that up front instead of jury-rigging something that fails again in a month. That's the one honest limit worth naming: original hardware from before 1957 sometimes means a full replacement is the only real fix, not a repair.
We don't do same-day promises we can't back with a truck that's actually free that day, and we won't tell you a part is in stock if it isn't. If a torsion spring size is unusual, we say so before we schedule, not after we've been in your driveway an hour.
